31 January -
Burns Nicht
This year's
Williamsburg St. Andrew's Society Burn's Night Dinner will be held
on Sat. night January 31, 2009. The festivities will be held at the
Colonial Heritage Country Club located on Richmond Road in
Lightfoot. This year will mark the 250th Anniversary of the birth of
Robert Burns, so we are planning some special events for the
evening. The evening will of course have the traditional round of
toast, presentation of the Haggis, piping and presentations that
make for a fine evening. We encourage everyone to put the 31st of
January on their calendars and get out their finest Scottish attire
for an evening of fun and celebration.

Presidents
Speech at the AGM 2008
For those
members not able to attend the Annual General Membership meeting, I
am including our President Howard Topp's speech. Is a
nice summary of what has happened in the recent past and an outline
of the immediate future of the Society.
